(This guy was in a suit and had an umbrella and he got the customary couple of stuff. And about midnight you could see him really get ripped, somebody who had probably never even been anything but drunk on beer. But he looked around and saw all these strange people and he looked down and the spotlight was showing down and he saw a shadow down there and he stands up straight and he puts that umbrella over his shoulder and he says 'The king walks' so the king turns around and now the king will dance.)
Caving in the worlds caving in
on my empty words
burning out, it's turning out
to be just like they said
down and out the swans about
and I don't want to ride
paralysed I was so high
it's never worth the price.
My lifeline
I'm not so high
It doesn't come so easily
I didn't know
I'd go so low
So rack me up another line
Homeward bound without a sound
feeling worse for wear
Grinding teeth a world of grief
tensions in the air
freezing cold I look so old
Need some TLC
aching jaw my body's sore
(they weren't just playing what was on the music sheets they were playing what was in the air. And, it was a test and there were people that passed and were people that didn't pass.)
Trying to get some sleep
is not that easy for me
when I close my eyes
there's no surprise:
